Cables for linking temporary fire alarms on construction sites have long been a source of frustration and headaches for the site management and installers alike. Installing the cables in the first place is one thing but keeping them in place as the work progresses is even more challenging.

The MegalarmP300W is a wireless unit which runs off batteries not mains power and allows up to 10 units to communicate to one another. When one unit is activated it will in turn alert the others via radio link.

• The unit housing is made from ABS plastic and is durable and robust
• Complete with a key to reset the manual call point
• 9v Battery supplied
• Low battery warning signal
• 90dB siren (at 2m)
• Flashing strobe light
• Can be linked to up to 10 units, one being the master unit situated in the site office or centre of the complex
• Range of up to 100m depending on signal strength
• Needs to be sited out of the rain/ wet conditions under a simple housing.
• Full instructions supplied

This system will require ongoing monitoring of the signal strength to ensure it is not affected by the construction process.
