Product Overview

Ideal for any public areas which have an automatic fire detection system installed (triggered by alarms compliant with BS 5839-3).

The freedor door closer is installed at the top of the fire door and allows the door to swing freely or be held open in any position and will automatically close the door when the fire alarm sounds for a period of time. This product has a night time release facility.

Useful Information

The Freedor operates up to power size 4 (80kg fire door). It is suitable for left or right hand swing doors and has an adjustable closing and latching speed.

The Freedor has a casing made from Steel and is powered by a 9v Alkaline battery pack (battery life 18 months). Rechargable batteries are not suitable for this product.
