Firesafety fire extinguishers are UK/EU manufactured delivered with a dated service label, ready to be put in place. Customers should ensure that the extinguishers are serviced annually by an approved Company and also complete their own monthly checks, recording these within a fire logbook.

Fire blankets come in various sizes from 1m2 to 1.8m2. We even supply fire blanket material on a roll for specific fire risks. Our fire blankets are Kite marked and approved. The fire blankets are housed within a rigid red plastic box which is easy to wall fit. We also sell fire blankets in a new white casing which can be more aesthetically pleasing for locating in a home environment. Fire blankets are made from a glass fibre fabric with a flame retardant silicone coating. Fire blankets are particularly suitable in commercial kitchens, but increasingly fire blankets are now being sold for the home, boat or caravan.

Fire hose reels are generally used for larger premises. Fire hose reels are supplied with both manual or automatic operation and 19mm diameter is generally the standard size. The benefit of our Fire Safety fire hose reels is that they come complete with the fire hose, nozzle and valve, so there are no extras to buy. The fixed fire hose reel is the most popular, whilst the swinging or recessed fire hose reel provides another choice. If you require a hose reel to sit within a cabinet or box we can supply a recessed reel and a suitable cabinet. The fire hose reel can be either auto or manual design. The fire hose reels supplied by Fire Safety are Kite marked to BSEN671. Fire Safety can also supply accessories for your fire hose reel such as a fire hose reel cover or fire hose reel signage.

The fire brigade equipment section locates the fire lay flat hose, standpipes and fire nozzles. Most of the products within the fire brigade equipment section are also suitable for the construction and demolition industry, for fire safety on building sites. The lay flat fire hose within the fire brigade equipment section comes complete with fitted couplings and is available in 23m lengths. Customers who need longer lengths can couple the lay flat fire hoses together. The lay flat fire hose is made from close woven twill polyester filament yarn with a synthetic rubber lining for exceptional strength. Our lay flat fire hose does not require drying after use. Although not held as standard stock, we are able to source other varieties of lay flat fire hose, such as Type 3 if required. Standpipes which are attached to the fire hydrant allow the water to flow through the lay flat fire hose to the lever operated nozzle. Standpipes can be either be supplied as single or double headed and we supply hydrant keys to operate the water supply in steel or aluminium. Within the fire brigade equipment section you will also find other products such as anti tamper leather straps in lengths of 560mm and 350mm which can be used in conjunction with a brass padlock to secure globe valves.

Other accessories within the website include such items as fire extinguisher stands, brackets and extinguisher cabinets and boxes which can all be found within the extinguisher storage stands and fixing section. Extinguisher stands are available in red, grey or polished metal and are an easy alternative to wall fixing extinguishers. We supply a range of wall brackets from standard brackets Our extinguisher storage stands and fixings section also offers products such as mobile / trolley fire points which are ideal for the construction industry as they can be easily re-located from site to site.

Fire safety signs are also available within the website; ours are photo luminescent to ensure that even when the power and lighting fails the fire safety signs can still be seen to help you escape from the building. Fire exit signs come in various sizes with or without directional arrows are easy to order and buy, but don’t forget to add adhesive sticky pads to your order to allow you to easy fit the fire signs. Fire safety signs in the form of extinguisher identification signs should be fixed above the extinguisher either on the wall or stand. These fire safety signs not only highlight the extinguisher position they also advise the “safe or not safe” types of fires the various extinguishers can be used on. The correct extinguisher ID sign is within the related products on the buy page for each extinguisher, so we’ve made the job simple for you too. Fire action signs and fire doors signs are also available within the fire safety signs section along with a health & safety poster and no smoking signs. In larger premises or in areas where the equipment may not be so obvious, fire equipment signs are very useful. These signs are designed to be larger and therefore more obvious are also photo luminescent. These should be mounted above the equipment to clearly show at a distance where the fire equipment is located. These can also be found within the fire safety signs section.

Sometimes fire safety is about prevention, for example our wide range of welding drapes are supplied to stop fire occurring in the first place. By preventing the heat or flames from a process such as welding or hot works, the welding drape stops the heat transfer to the material or fabric, thus reducing the chance of a fire occurring. The welding drapes come in different sizes and grades. Customers can even have special sizes welding drapes made up for specific fire risks. The welding drapes are particularly suitable for the engineering or building industries. Standard welding drapes are nearly always available next day and special order welding drapes can be turned around in a few days.
